[...] Consulta Eventos wrote an interesting post today!.Here’s a quick excerptWho the heck is Denny Keast? November 23rd, 2007 So I’m looking at the Idiotic E-Mail of the week (just use the link. The message is really long). Snopes has it as “Undetermined,” because it’s obviously next-to-impossible to verify a second hand account that also uses anonymous sources. About.Com is trying to verify it as well. I did a Google search on “Denny Keast,” and, outside of this E-Mail hitting the Right-Wing circuit like wildfire (word-for-word), this guy doesn’t seem to exist! [...]

I find it interesting that it sounds like he's refering to the same people, and that would mean they've been doing the same thing for well over 25+ years, not that that's impossible, but I find it hard to believe the same people would be on security detail that long...
even if any of it is true, just because they're polite doesn't mean they should be running the country!

What is the problem with you people and Mormons? So what that a candidate is Mormon? The country allows for people of any religion to be president. Would you feel the same way if it were a Jew? Just because you don't believe what he believes doesn't make him wrong and you right or what he believes would make him a bad president. How many people of all different faiths ive in this nation? Did we ever have a president whose religion came into play- using it against others of different faiths? Get over it! And, NO, I'm NOT Mormon!!!!

Actually Alexa, Romney's remarks recently about keeping religion and politics separate has given me a whole new level of respect for him. I am far more fearful of Christian Fundamentalist people like Huckabee who sets murderers/rapists free and say "it's impossible" for him to keep politics and his personal convictions separate.

Now THAT'S scary!

Personally I think the biggest thing we need to fear from Mormons are the Osmonds trying to make another comeback. EEP!

I am Denny Keast and the informatioin circulating about me and Presidential SAM Missions is complete "Garbage". I have never flown a SAM mission nor have I ever been on Air Force One. These missions were flown by a special unit out of Andrews AFB, VA. I was never based in Washington DC, so the part about knowing a Secret Service Agent there is a lie as well. I did however, fly four (4) Presidential Support Missions out of Dover AFB, DE for two presidents; Johnson and Nixon in 1966 and 1968. I never met Johnson, but did meet Nixon when I supported his European trip. The only Secret Service Agents I met on active duty were on my support missions. The only discussions we had were directly related to the vehicles and equipment we carried for them. Since I seperated from active duty in March 1969 I have no knowledge of any president, or members of their families or staff much beyond Nixon's first year in office. Over 95% of any e-mails concerning me are completely made up by someone other than me. I hope this sets the record straight. One more thing; Carl Rove had nothing to do with this and no I am not yet 70!! This just proves how bogus, or embellished, most postings are on the internet. I'd be real careful beleiving anything I read there.

In response to Alexa's defense of Romney's Mormon beliefs it must be said that the Mormon religion is based on even more ridiculous belirfs than other religions. So it is a valid criterion by which to judge Romney. Anyone who could accent The Book of Mormon as true, shows very poor judgment and deserves to be discounted.
