I really want to believe that these militants are a small minority in Islam. I really do.
Fact of the matter is, I *KNOW* no matter what I think of our current policies in the U.S…. No matter how idiotic I find the current administration in the White House…
I wouldn’t last five minutes in that region without someone wanting to make a video of my beheading. All for simply being an American.
Why should I give anyone a level of understanding or sympathy they would never give me?
The Middle East is beyond sanity & reasoning. They refuse to accept the fact that the West considers Terrorism as *synonymous* with Islam. Not a small radical fraction, but the whole ideology and reasoning behind it.
Yes we can point out “Christian Terrorism”. Irrational hatred of gays and bombings of abortion clinics. That brand of fanaticism needs to be exterminated as well. But by and large people in America can be reasoned with or punched in the mouth without worrying about a dirty bomb taking out Los Angeles or Boston. Their sickness will be dealt with in due time as well.
Their uproar over Danish cartoons and calling for violence and death is undefendable. Other countries in Europe is reprinting them in their newspapers for one simple reason…
Like the United States, Europe is getting sick of your bullshit too.
They’re tired of walking on eggshells. They’re tired of appeasing and kissing the Muslim world’s ass when you’re going to call on a jihad for something else next week.

I guess it goes to show the Western world and the Islamic world aren’t that different, that whoever has the biggest guns and the biggest mouths and willing to be the most vicious can rule entire populations.

Sure makes me want to climb under a rock and hibernate for a very long time. I know that won’t solve anything but it sure would make me feel better.
