Pardon the appearance, but I decided to get with the times and upgrade to the latest Wordpress to combat the ridiculous amount of comment spam I get here. Up until now, I had the ORIGINAL version of Wordpress (and highly customized) here… and I can’t TAKE having to delete over 3,000 crap comments per day. Even worse is sifting through them to find the 2 or three legitimate comments.
Of course, the newest Wordpress is a whole new ballgame, now it’s designed to use themes so I have to figure out how to design a look that’s uniform with the rest of the site and get all my other scripts to work on this page.
But hey… I’m a designer, and this is what I do, right?
So far my inbox has been incredibly grateful by the lack of spam.
Next will be a rewrite of my guestbook and mailing list scripts.
Comment spammers… you are SO screwed now.

Betty Bowers reviews ‘Ann Coulter’s: Godless’
HAW HAW! Oh forget anything I can say about that anorexic loon, Betty Bowers does it so much better!
Excerpt:
"Instead of using this book to dabble in the bracing novelty of introspection, Miss Coulter turns her two-setting mind (’off’ and ‘off her rocker’) to hector us about religion."
"Let’s be honest: Reading a book about religion from Ann Coulter is tantamount to reading a book about dieting from Michael Moore. After all, who wants to be lectured about not being Christian enough by an almost-50 year-old boozehound in a black leather miniskirt who has never been married?"
Wait there’s more…
"With a mouth so busy frothing it apparently has no time to eat, Miss Coulter claims to be livid at these opportunistic widows for being crass enough to remember the event that killed the father of their children."
Go read it. The right-wing must be so proud of her…
PS: For those who missed the crock-u-drama, “The Path to 9/11″, the White House website has some of the deleted scenes you missed because all Good Americans™ watched football that night instead.

You know, moron…
You don’t really think things through, do you?
If I’m this irritating and obnoxious while I’m alive, what do you think I’ll be like as a ghost haunting your silly ass for a long, boring eternity?
You’ll never want to take your clothes off or be alone in a dark room EVER AGAIN.
Be careful what you wish for, cupcake. *EvilGrin*

Ever use Anonymizer on MySpace? Besides the anonymous surfing, it serves to filter out known malignant websites…. many of whom serve ads there.
You may recall back in July when a malignant ad affected millions there, and Tom urged everyone to upgrade their flash player?
Check this out…
Here is the message that Anonymizer gives you:
| Warning! The site you are attempting to access has been flagged by Anonymizer’s Malicious Site Filter. Anonymizer blocks many sites used for spyware, viruses, spam robots, phishing scams, and other privacy violations. If you understand that Anonymizer has indicated that this site is dangerous, but you would like to see the page anyway, please select one of the options below. We strongly advise that you do not visit this site. |
Hmmmmm….
But that’s not the only place this is happening. Some ads go through and some don’t. Here is another screenshot from tonight. A tower ad on the bulletins page was blocked. Certain Leaderboard ads on top has been blocked as well.
Rockstar: Supernova
Mates1
Classmates.Com
Webalize.Com
Insweb.com
Are all ok and show, but the others are being blocked by Anonymizer for some reason.
Could be something serious. Could be nothing.
I certainly have no problem with MySpace collecting information with cookies (I believe it’s in the TOS I agreed to.), but anonymizer doesn’t just block ads or sites for little or no reason.
Does this mean several ad servers have been blocked by Anonymizer? Or is it the ads themselves? Is there still a threat of malignant adware or trojans being transmitted? Is this just part of the business of what they do to give their customers “free” service?
I don’t know, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask….

*SIGH*
I had no intention of entertaining the “propaganda-drama” that aired on ABC. What people like Michelle Malkin and her buddies have failed to mention in their manufactured outrage and screams of “censorship” is that it was riddled with fictional scenes and misinformation… I mean not even a link from them about it.
Dishonesty as usual. (Gee, shock?).
We all would rather watch a good football game anyway.
They’re pissed that the Clintons (unlike most Democrats) wont take any shit from them. They’ve dealt with most of the GOP’s slander and attacks all through Bill’s 8-year presidency and the best they got on him was a blowjob in an investigation that cost the taxpayers millions.
Which brings me to another point…
Rep. Murtha “Disappointed” That Hillary Clinton Didn’t Endorse Troop Withdrawal Plan…
Please tell me they aren’t serious.
Americans aren’t quitters. Cutting and running is for cowards. We’re in Iraq now. It’s our mess and our problem.
Senator Clinton knows that a withdrawal would be a disaster. She also knows a thing or two about standing your ground.
You fail to realize that you’d be back in power if you provided less criticism and more solutions, don’t you?
I have the solution to all of this, do YOU Democrats?
